FOODLINK is a food and nutrition database and data visualization platform designed to improve access to information on food resources and the food system and to support effective food policy by West Virginians working at the local, state and federal level. Our research team gathers data on West Virginia food retail (grocery, convenience, farmers markets, dollar stores), nutritional programs such as SNAP, WIC, School Nutrition, TEFAP, and charitable food assistance. We do so in partnership with the Mountaineer and Facing Hunger Food Banks, WVU Extension, WV Food and Farm Coalition, WV Center for Budget and Policy and state offices including the WV Department of Health and Human Resources, WV Department of Education and the WV Department of Agriculture.
